Gold Rimmed Milky White Fireking Dishes

I've always been a fan of these dishes, they do look quite festive for the holidays...yet they're simple and fresh for the spring and summer months....I decided to part with my collection, as I do have so many dishes,I love all of them for different reasons! Some are listed now, and there are more coming...
Take a look...

the bowls here are being sold seperately
from the silver caddy

There's more to come....
We've been trying to learn how to use a mac, and
I think I'm getting it down!
Hope your days have been good...

Word of the Day!

The word for today is...
"boil the billy"
"in the Australian bush, to make tea
in a tin can called a billy."

Sorry we haven't been around much lately...
just having a time getting our trusty
computer to want to do the same things
we want to!

Word of the Day...

"fortissimo"
"fortissimo"
"in music, very loud."
gee, I didn't know there was a word for this...
so, if you love loud music are you fortissimable?

Words of the Day

Today I looked up
"Dandy"
"Dandy"
"a fop; coxcomb; something very neat and trim;
a handcart for bringing fuel to a furnace."

After reading this, I just had to look up
"Fop"
"Fop"
"a dandy; pretentious fool."

This book just cracks me up...
Hope your days have been good!

Fun in the Sun...

Sorry we haven't been around too much lately...we're back now! I think all we needed was a bit of fun in the sun at our cousins place to get motivated again...
There's nothing like spending a few days with family in the natural beauty of the outdoors and nights filled with Jenga, Lonesome Dove, The Man from Snowy River and Point Break. Thought we'd share a few photos with you...

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend!

Word of the Day!

"masher"

"masher"
"a male flirt."

oh, this cracks me up...I have a new word to use with my sister now
when we're out on the town...
so, would "mashin" be "in the act of flirting"?
